Sitting on the rocks « Thread Started on Mar 8, 2009, 5:23pm »
I sighed as I walked out of the tiny house that I lived in with my foster mother. Life was tough after my parents died, living with my mothers best friend. I didn't really like her much; she wouldn't let me do what I wanted and she always yelled at me for something I never was responsible. Like taking the last of her protein shakes. I had to get out of that house as much as possible. The only reason i actually stayed there was because of the dog, Sunny. Sunny was a little pug that had a sassy attitude that always made me laugh.
So, as I walked away from the little house, I decided to go to the rocks on the beach that our little house stood next to. With my Ipod in hand, I walked along the sandy beach with the warm salt wind blew my auburn looks to and fro. The wind that blew against my face turned my cheeks a light pink, salt slightly irritating them. Soon, I came upon the rocks that I loved to sit on and think.
I swiped my hands on the cool stone as I walked to favorite rock that was shaped like a chair. I sat down as I came upon the rock and stared out at the wide expanse of blue-green ocean. I pulled out my headphones as I sat in thought and listened to my music. Currently, the song was Gone Forever by Three Days Grace.
