AUTUMN ROSE BLACK
Name: Autumn Rose Black
Age: 18
Face Claim: Briana Evigan
[Way B A C K]
History: Well, there isn't much to say about Autumn before her 14 birthday. She grew up in a regular family as an only child. Her family wasn't rich nor poor and they were very happy. Autumn found her passion in dancing and singing at an early age though she kept both hidden for fear of other's opinions. However, she would always perform for her family who loved to watch her, it always maked them feel better when they were down.
That all changed on the way home from school one February morning. She was 14 years old, walking home from school, loud music blarring from her tiny headphones as you could almost see the dark cloud above her head. She had gotten in another fight with one of her friends and, though she wouldn't show it, she was deepily hurt. As she was walking, she felt large vibrattions that rocked the earth beneath her. She quickly tok her headphones out, knowing it would be dangerous if she couldn't hear anything because they were there. Only then did she hear the sirens and see the flashing lights that came from just down the road.
As she walked faster, seeing that the lights were close to her house, she saw a scene that would haunt her forever. Right were her house had once been was a little pile of charred rubble, little planks of would that were ash black poking out of the ground, the only things signifying that a structure was once their. After questioning one of the many police officers, she found out what had happened and she comforted by no one as she sank to the floor, reduced to a broken doll. Her parents had still been inside when someone had set the tiny home on fire and had not been able to make it out. She was now alone in the world.
After the incident, Autumn was sent to live with her mother's best friend, having no other living relatives to stay with. She didn't talk much as she went around school, pale as a ghost with her eyes puffy and red from crying herself to sleep ever night. Her grades began to go down and she lost all her friends, nobody wanting to be around the empty shell. But, her new guardians pets were always there for her and she somehow managed to pull through slightly. Though she is still not her old self, she has regained a little of who she used to be.
Personality: Autumn is a very quiet person and isn't very sociable. She would rather be by herself in a dance studio with nobody around to watch her listen to music and dance. Though, after you get to know her, she is a great friend who is willing to stick up for her beliefs and not back down and protect a friend. She hates to see her friends hurt and has gotten into several fights. She has a very high temper, being annoyed easily. Even with her usually care-free attitude, once annoyed, se is very mean, rude, and sarcastic, often speaking her mind and hurting other's feelings with meaning to.
But, through that, she is a very caring and sensitive soul. She is hurt by the simplest of remarks and her emotions tend to rule her. She is very sweet to most everbody, especially animals. After she lost her parents, she became distant and many people gave up on her ever becoming her old self. Animals, however, did not give up on her and continued to stick with her. Her connection with most animals, though strong before, was much stronger now and she will not stand for their mistreatment.

Example Post: I grinned as I drove down the dirt path that led to the stables, my loud engine roaring as my economically unfriendly car burn gas and sent smoke from the exhaust pipe into the atmosphere. I knew that when my mom came home from visiting grandma in Colorado that she would yell at me for it, but I didn’t care. I wanted this car, not that sissy Prius that she had been badgering me to buy.
As I neared the familiar red barn, I turned off my Three Days Grace cd, ending the flow of the rock music that added to my noisy approach. I wasn’t exactly a ninja in this car. And with Hopper in the passengers seat, we would never have survived if we had to be quiet to save our lives.
I finally parked the large green Jeep Forester in front of the ominous structure, whistling for the Great Dane puppy to follow me. Though Hopper was only a couple months old, he was double my mothers Chihuahua, and his paws would soon be the size of my palms. I whistled the ever known ‘Charleston’ toon as I walked through the towering gates that led into the barn as the black and white puppy barked as he bounced along beside me.
I looked into the little stall that my stallion Vamp barely fit in, as he whinnied at the sight of my figure, ramming his massive hooves unto the dark wood of the barred gate. Hey Vamp, I said to the large brown Belgium, knowing that if I didn’t get him out soon he would bust down the little door that stood between him self and freedom. You wanna go for a walk on the trails, I asked, to which he quickly nickered back, excited to be taken out of his cramped courters.
Deciding to go bareback, not wanting to take the time and hassle that came with the saddle, not caring about the conciquiences, I jumped onto the back of my large, excited stallion and headed towards the trails, whistling for Hopper to come along.
We started out on a familiar wooded trail that we had taken many times before, Vamp’s hooves thundering along the dirt path and Hopper weaseling through the underbrush, snapping at birds and barking at innocent woodland creatures that dared cross his path. As we walked, it was a pleasant feeling to have the warm sun on my back and the bird’s cherping in the tree’s high above us, taunting the puppy that was grounded to the forest floor.
We soon came upon a crystal clear lake, the sun’s rays bouncing off of it’s almost smooth surface and blinding me, causing me to turn away from the lovely sight, and head back into the darker trees, much to Vamp’s enjoyment. He hated the sun as much as he hated people who messed with his mane. So, with great regret, we headed back towards the stables, Vamp almost grumbling in despair.
So, as we walked back down the familiar trails, Vamp with his head hanging low as he mourned what little time he still had to be free, I saw in the distance a smaller palomino with a girl I had never seen before upon it’s back, also riding bare. Surprised to see another on this trail, for not many knew of it’s exsistence, I waved slightly in greeting.
Hi, I said as I neared her as Hopper quickly bounded out from the brush to bark his greetings as well, not wanting to be left out. I've never seen you around before, I said politely. Not that I'd seen many people before, being quite new to the tiny town.
[When your gone, the pieces of my heart are missing you]
